Basic
Fly Casting:
Beginners are shown the parts and mechanics of the equipment.
They are shown two basic casts and when to apply them appropriately.
Essential knots are covered with any remaining time. We supply
all the gear needed or bring your own.
Intermediate
Fly Casting:
For those looking to improve their basic skill set and learn
new techniques. Line control and mending are covered as well
as casting with weight. Knots are reviewed and augmented.
These are tailored somewhat to the kind of fishing anticipated
by the participant.
Fly
Tying:
A class tailored to the needs and wants of the participant.
Dry flies, nymphs, streamers, egg patterns, or just the basics
of the craft. All tools are provided by us.
Rod
Building:
We are capable of tutoring those wishing to construct their
own rods as well. Call for details.
